you might be wondering what even is a slackline?

A slackline is a piece of flat webbing connected above the ground between two anchors that you walk across. Usually between two trees or at a designated slackline park like the one at Original Muscle Beach in Santa Monica

so is a Highline just a really elevated slackline?

That’s right! Basically a Highline is a slackline that is installed up high with a lot more safety features and components in the system such as back up anchors and webbings. when you highline you need to wear a harness to stay safe.
